General Studies

Not every college student has a clear path from start to finish in pursuing a degree. Many individuals change majors or take a variety of classes not required for a particular major. In some cases, they are unable to complete special requirements for a particular major. As a result, students may accumulate a lot of college credits and yet are still not eligible to get that all-important degree. To address this need, Oakwood University has developed its Bachelor of Science in General Studies program.

Beyond the above requirements, the General Studies degree does not require any specific coursework. Students may select courses from other degree programs and/or from General Education courses as desired."
